Dynamite Comics’ adaptation of the saga A Song of Ice and Fire continues with George R.R. Martin’s A Clash Of Kings (Vol.2) #3. The second volume of the series begins about halfway through the 1998 novel, with this current issue taking place after the death of Renly Baratheon.
Read the synopsis from the publisher here:
In the aftermath of the regicide of Renly Baratheon, Catelyn Stark returns to her childhood home of Riverrun, where the widow is reunited with the bones of Lord Eddard Stark. Meanwhile, Tyrion Lannister’s plot to see his niece Myrcella safely removed from King’s Landing is interrupted by a massive and bloody riot – one that risks upsetting all that the Imp has worked for. How long can the capital city of Westeros survive, with the threat of war impending and the citizens starving? Find out, in this stunning visual adaptation of George R. R. Martin’s epic masterpiece.
Landry Q. Walker (Red Lanterns, The Incredibles) pens the series using Martin’s source material while artist Mel Rubi (Red Sonja, Doctor Strange) takes on interiors. Ivan Nunes (A Game of Thrones, Grimm Fairy Tales) is on colors and Tom Napolitano (Justice League, Supergirl) handles letters. As for covers, look for one from Rubi and another from Mike Miller along with virgin variants of each and a black and white option of Rubi’s.
