The second issue of Dynamite Comics’ latest incarnation of the Golden Age hero is set to drop this week. After taking up the mantle of his heroic alter ego again, pharmacist Bob Benton now faces his most dangerous foe to date—hippies—in Black Terror #2.

Written by Max Bemis (Moon Knight, Polarity, Centipede) and with art by Ruairi Coleman (KISS/Army of Darkness), the story is set around a young woman who finds herself in the grip of a cult whose leader is a man claiming he can give his followers powers. A link to Black Terror himself is revealed as is the source to their abilities.

The issue features covers by Rahzzah, Jorge Fornés, and Tyler Kirkham. There are also virgin and black and white variants of Fornés’ entry as well as a Blue Variant of Rahzzah’s.

Black Terror #2 will be available this Wednesday November 6 at your favorite local comic shop. Head to Dynamite’s website for more on the series or to order online. For digital, check out ComiXology, Dynamite Digital, iBooks, Kindle, and more.
