Nuclear Family #2 is out at the end of this month — March 31, to be exact — from AfterShock Comics, and today The Beat has an exclusive preview.

The first issue of this book ended on a pretty massive cliffhanger — albeit one that was telegraphed by the comic’s title — and now the second issue picks up from the moment its predecessor left off. This is an exciting title, involving sci-fi, a bit of historical fiction, and a nice dose of family dynamics.

It’s from the creative team of writer Stephanie Phillips, artist Tony Shasteen, colorist JD Mettler, and letterer Troy Peteri. Today’s preview shows off a bit of misdirection and intrigue, all rooted in what happened in the (excellent) debut.

You can check it out below, following the preview text from the publisher…enjoy!
