Today, The Beat is pleased to exclusively reveal the full August lineup for Transmissions From the Cave, including big news: Saige Ryan is taking over as host! Saige is an actor, writer, and Twitch Partner who you may know from PixelCircus or Smosh.
Transmissions From the Cave is a weekly Twitch broadcast from Mad Cave Studios that streams on Wednesdays at 11:00 AM Pacific Time.
In addition to interviews with Mad Cave team members, there will be live drawing sessions, trailer reveals for upcoming comics, question and answer sessions, and more! You’ll want to be sure and mark your calendar and be there on Twitch each week.
August Schedule
In August, an array of talent will be stopping by the virtual Cave for a chat with Saige!
First up – that’s tomorrow, August 4th, 2021 at 11:00 AM Pacific Time – writer Nadia Shammas and artist Rowan MacColl will be appearing for an interview about their story “Hello, My Name Is,” which appears in the upcoming horror anthology Grimm Tales from the Cave (read more on that – including more from MacColl on the inspirations behind the story – here).
The following Wednesday, on August 11th, editor Michael Moccio and author Jasmine Walls will be appearing to discuss The Last Session.
On August 18th, Kelly Williams, artist on the upcoming Bountiful Garden, will be returning to the Cave for a live drawing session.
And on August 25th, artist Lorenzo Colangeli and author Joe Corallo will be appearing on Transmissions From the Cave to discuss their ongoing comic series, Becstar.
