Fanhome is bringing movie lovers the chance to build their own E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.

The subscription-based collections and models company announced an exciting new build-up model arriving just in time for New York Comic Con this week. Attendees can stop by Booth #4108 to see the impressively detailed display for the figure based on the beloved character from the Oscar-winning 1982 Steven Spielberg film. Pre-orders are now open now and will begin shipping later this year.

The officially licensed Fanhome E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial stands over two feet tall (25 inches) and was designed with the guidance of the family of Carlo Rambaldi, the Italian designer who helped realize the original version of the friendly alien for the hit film. Any fan of the film will be blown away by the detail of the figure and its life-life features. And it’s not hard to see why.

The E.T. model is made up of detailed metal and ABS plastic parts and comes with step-by-step instructions packed full of diagrams that will aid in the assembly. And don’t worry, all the necessary tools are included.

More than just looking the part, the completed model includes articulated arms and an extendable head along with an LED light-up index finger and the infamous “heart light.” The E.T. model even has moveable eyes and facial expressions. Touchless sensors and a remote control allow you to activate the features, which include audio of quotes from the film.
