Four years have passed since Elfquest: The Final Quest ended the hero’s journey of Cutter Kinseeker, chief of the Wolfriders. Now, his “brother in all but blood,” Skywise, will star in a brand new series slated to it comic shops in November. Elfquest: Stargazer’s Hunt will bring back co-creators Wendy and Richard Pini, as well as alumnus Sonny Strait. Wendy Pini will write the script, with Strait on art and color duties.

“I feel both thrilled and anxious as I hurtle into new writing territory with Stargazer’s Hunt. Always the ‘champion’s companion,’ Skywise is now a hero unto himself, questing for a prize no one could possibly guess,” Wendy Pini said in a statement. “While Cutter’s story arc on the World of Two Moons was meticulously planned, Skywise’s hunt encompasses all of space and time, and surprises await. Who can know what will befall him?”

In Elfquest: Stargazer’s Hunt, Skywise quickly learns that he was mistaken in his belief that he knew everything about Cutter Kinseeker. This discovery, combined with a tragic accident involving his daughter Jink, sends Skywise on a personal quest that will take him from Star Home and into uncharted space.

Stargazer’s Hunt will run for six issues, starting Nov. 13, 2019. Check out the cover art for issue #1 below and stay tuned for pre-order details.
