Direct-to-physical publisher Bad Idea will be making its first appearance at Emerald City Comic Con. Promising an array of sneak peeks and special guest appearances, the studio announces its latest debut project: A Good Boy, an Emerald City Comic Con exclusive. Created by the minds of Doug Wagner (PLASTIC, VINYL), Adam Pollina (PYRATE QUEEN, WHALESVILLE), Mike Spicer (TRANSFORMERS, MURDER FALCON), and Dave Sharpe (TANKERS, ACTION COMICS), this upcoming series will be promoted during Bad Idea’s ECCC Panel. Atop of this, all panel attendees who follow the Kickstarter pre-launch page below of Bad Idea’s other highly anticipated campaign, Robert Venditti’s Tankers, will be eligible for a free copy of A GOOD BOY. Though supplies are limited going first come first serve for those who follow. 

Tankers is a satire comic written by Robert Venditti and illustrated by Juan José Ryp. What’s unique regarding the marketing of this latest campaign is the marketing tied to a video for Dinosaur Island Expedition Part IV.

In the trailer, we see a video for the comic book series writer Robert Venditti whom, along with a small film crew, set out on a 3-day expedition to Dinosaur Island but apparently, months later, returned with no crew. 

It’s a delightfully ridiculous premise of their upcoming comic series Tankers. A creative series parodying dinosaurs, mechs, and oil.
