McFarlane Toys is making collectors very happy in this year’s Comic Con. If their more recent action figure lines are indicative of anything it’s that video game characters sell toys. Lots of them. McFarlane Toys’ Fortnite figures have been flying off the shelves and have fans clamoring for more. In fact, new additions to that series were on display at the convention. Now, in an expansion of their video game toy series, fans will have the chance to add Scorpion and Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat 11 and Doom’s iconic Doom Slayer to their collections.

The figures are on display at the Diamond Previews booth on the SDCC show floor. McFarlane Toys had announced the acquisition of the Mortal Kombat license earlier this year and have shown previews of the Scorpion and Sub-Zero figures at New York Toy Fair 2019. According to the information on display with the action figures, Scorpion and Sub-Zero are slated for release this coming October and will go for $19.99 each.

The Doom Slayer is slated for release on September 2019. The design is based on the latest iteration of the space marine, which is set to appear in the upcoming Doom Eternal video game slated for release later this year. The 7-inch Doom Slayer figurine comes with a base, the Super Shotgun, an Extended Arm Blade, and a Sheathed Arm Blade. Set price is $21.99.

This year has been big for toys at the convention, with NECA having a strong showing and more licensed toys getting a fair share of the attention  along with the more established franchises. For more on SDCC’s toy and action figure, click here.
