Bethesda, the publisher of games like Skyrim and Wolfenstein, showed off more from DOOM Eternal, the latest sequel in their historic FPS franchise. It looks crazier than ever with the Doomslayer taking on more enemies with more abilities.

The 2016 DOOM title was the perfect power fantasy. Eternal looks to only improve on the formula. There doesn’t seem to be a huge graphical upgrade between the original and its sequel, but you’ll probably be too busy killing monsters to care.
The only weak point in the 2016 DOOM title is the multiplayer. Bethesda seems to recognize that, spotlighting Eternal’s BATTLEMODE where you can play as a Slayer or a team of demons. They’re clearly trying something new with it. We’ll see if the gambit pays off.
Bethesda announced that DOOM ETERNAL hits shelves on November 22 of this year. The publisher also announced a deluxe edition including a wearable Doomslayer helmet. It probably won’t be cheap, but it seems like a must buy for the biggest fans of the series and will probably sell out fast. Keep an eye on Bethesda’s DOOM web page for when it becomes available for pre-order.
