On Tuesday, Gameloft announced one of its flagship titles, Disney Dreamlight Valley, has partnered with the Nature Conservancy of Canada for a charity bundle benefiting efforts to maintain habitats for grizzly bears and other wildlife.
To support the cause, players can purchase a grizzly bear cub Companion from July 29 to September 23 in the Disney Dreamlight Valley Premium Shop, which will also give them 800 Moonstones to spend on additional Premium Shop items. All proceeds will be donated to the Nature Conservancy of Canada.
“At Gameloft, we believe games can create moments of joy while also inspiring positive impact beyond the screen,” said Joshua Labelle, Creative Director at Gameloft Montreal. “As a team proudly based in Canada, we are delighted to bring attention to the fantastic work being done by the Nature Conservancy of Canada and offer a meaningful way to support their mission of protecting places that wildlife depends on.”
“Disney Dreamlight Valley’s new grizzly bear Companion doesn’t just enrich players’ experiences in the virtual world,” said Aaron Bilyea, Chief Marketing Officer at the Nature Conservancy of Canada. “It helps them care for the physical landscapes we love and depend on, too. With players’ support, the Nature Conservancy of Canada will protect habitats for grizzly bears and other species, all while securing the landscapes that provide us with clean air and water and places to explore.”
The grizzly bear cub Companion Charity Bundle launches in conjunction with the “Pixel Perfect” free update on July 29, which introduces Ralph from Wreck-It-Ralph to the game, as well as the “Pop City Star Path.”
Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now for Apple Arcade, Nintendo Switch 1/2, PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
