Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today that the popular mobile game brawler Injustice: Gods Among Us is adding iconic villains to the game’s roster inspired by the highly anticipated Warner Bros. Pictures film, Suicide Squad.
The latest update is the largest to hit the game in over a year. Along with special in-game events and rewards, players can now assemble the DC film universe’s squad as Will Smith’s Deadshot makes his Injustice game debut alongside character skins for Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn and Jared Letto’s over tattooed Joker.

Developed from the ground up by award-winning NetherRealm Studios, the Injustice: Gods Among Us mobile game delivers a completely unique fighting gameplay experience compared to its console game counterpart. The game features a collectible card mechanic and engages players in 3-on-3 tag team combat that feature many of DC’s most iconic characters.
Recently, NetherRealm’s Ed Boon asked twitter if they’d rather see the team develop more content for the current mobile game or release a sequel alongside the Injustice 2 console game when it launches in 2017, which fans resoundingly clamored for the sequel. So far both the console game and digital comic book series have been the only announced sequels for the Injustice universe. The Injustice: Gods Among Us mobile game and Suicide Squad content is available to download on iOS and Android stores.
