DC Super Hero Girls debuts this Friday on Cartoon Network, which not coincidentally happens to coincide with International Women’s Day.

In anticipation for the animated series developed by Emmy Award-winner Lauren Faust, Cartoon Network has released sneak peek videos that also give us an early look at the opening title sequence as well as the song “Super Life” written and produced by Kay Hanley, Michelle Lewis, and Dan Petty and performed by Hanley and Lewis themselves. Though best known (particularly for 90’s Boston natives) as a member of alternative rock band Letters to Cleo, Hanley is no stranger to composing songs for children’s animation such as Doc McStuffins and the 2018 Muppet Babies theme song with the previously mentioned Lewis and Petty.

Eagle-eyed viewers will probably notice a few familiar names among the student body in the Metropolis High School Yearbook.

You can watch it along with other footage in the videos below-
