DC has just announced the release of eight new variant covers this May, as a way to showcase and celebrate Asian American & Pacific Island (AAPI) Heritage Month. The covers will be drawn by a number of talented artists with Asian backgrounds, including Bernard Chang, Crystal Kung, and Marcio Takara.
The covers will also be featured across all three of the first issues under the ‘We are Legends‘ banner, three new series featuring Asian leads launched straight out of the recently concluded Lazarus Planet crossover. Other series with AAPI covers include Action Comics, Batgirls, Batman Inc., Catwoman, and Green Arrow.
