The All In publishing initiative continues to be a resounding success for DC Comics. Today the publisher announced details for “We Are Yesterday,” the first major crossover since the events of the DC All In Special. Helming the crossover is none other than fan-favorite writer Mark Waid who will be joined by an incredible roster of co-writers and artists to helm parts one to three of this story, taking place in the pages of Batman/Superman: World’s Finest, Justice League Unlimited, and the Batman/Superman: World’s Finest 2025 Annual.

The “We Are Yesterday” storyline kicks off on April 16th with the Batman/Superman: World’s Finest #38 as the Man of Steel and the Dark Knight take on Gorilla Grodd who appears to have knowledge of the future. The issue will have connecting main covers by artist Dan Mora with variant covers by Gavin Guidry, Adrían Gutiérrez, and Elizabeth Torque, plus an April Fools’ Day variant cover by Brandt & Stein.

Then on April 23rd, part two unfolds in Justice League Unlimited #6 by Waid and artist Travis Moore as the the horrific hidden identity of the Inferno cult is revealed. DC teases a connection with Lex Luthor, The Joker, Cheetah, and some other familiar DC supervillains. This issue features the second of three connecting covers by Justice League Unlimited artist Mora, with variant covers by Lee Bermejo, Nathan Szerdy, Dan Jurgens, Felipe Massafera, and Moore. 

In all comes to a head in part three on April 30th in the Batman/Superman: World’s Finest 2025 Annual, written by Waid, Christopher Cantwell, and Morgan Hampton with art by Dan McDaid and Clayton Henry which will reveal the origin of the Legion of Doom. Likewise, the issue will present the World’s Finest debut of John Stewart Green Lantern, the newest ring slinger of Sector 2814. Mora provides the third of three connecting main covers, with variant covers by Henry, Salvador Larroca, and Laura Braga.
