GLAAD Media Award-nominated writer Sina Grace and artist Siobhan Keenan debut Ghosted in LA #1 this July, and The Beat is excited to reveal a Kris Anka variant for the first issue. Ghosted In LA, a new series from BOOM! Studios’ BOOM! Box imprint, chronicles the misadventures of Daphne Walters after she follows her high school sweetheart to college in Los Angeles.

When Daphne arrives in LA, she ends up with a group of unexpected roommates: ghosts living in Rycroft Manor, a derelict apartment complex that isn’t as abandoned as it seems. As Daphne learns to navigate her love life and her new city, her ghostly roommates help her through heartbreak, loneliness, forming new relationships and more.

In the Kris Anka variant for Ghosted In LA #1, Daphne floats through the air with her belongings, alongside the ghosts and (presumably) the sweetheart she followed to California. Alongside the main issue cover by Keenan and another variant by Grace, Anka’s cover will be available at comic book shops on July 10.

Check out the Anka variant cover below, as well as Keenan’s and Grace’s covers for the debut issue. FOC for Ghosted In LA #1 is June 17, 2019.
