Get My Head Straight

Creators: Richard Fairgray (Writer/Artist)
Goal: $2,000
End Date: February 25
Goodies: Get the digital copy for $3, the Get My Head Straight PDf for $12, and the physical copy for $20.

A digital grab bag of first issues and an all new memoir comic.

This project centers on Fairgray, who, after reaching a personal goal, is searching for new motivation in creating comics. That journey leads to Get My Head Straight, where Fairgray grapples with the unpredictable and chaotic nature of the world. The best way to describe it is as a raw, handheld view of an ever-shifting reality through his eyes.

The project looks fantastic, with the first image depicting Fairgray running through a crumbling building, pursued by dinosaurs bombarding him with questions—Have you read the Neil Gaiman article? Did you see Trump’s inauguration? Did you hear about the death of David Lynch? And more.

Get My Head Straight is as unique as it is beautiful. If you love independent comics, this is one you don’t want to miss. It genuinely contributes something meaningful to the medium and just might be worth your time.
