Slices of Life: A Comic Montage by Qu
Creators: Bulgilhan Press

Slices of Life had my attention with a breathtaking cover—I needed to know more about the project because, if that was the cover, what amazing work would be inside? The book is intended to be a collection of comics that explore universal experiences, aiming to examine the little moments in life that can only be understood through quiet beauty. At its core, it’s a fun project, but what makes it unique is the layers of each artist’s specific take on their experiences, making it that much more special. Check out this project if you’re a lover of art or just want to experience the world through someone else’s eyes. It’s worth the visit, I can promise you that.
Scott Snyder Presents: The CloakRoom
Creators: Thorny Comics
Goal: $5,000
End Date: June 25, 2025
Goodies: Get the digital copy for $8, the A COVER trade for $15, the B COVER for $15, or at higher tiers get the VIRGIN variant for $18.
Over 450 pages of comic shorts are available, including the new 50+ page issue.
When you check out this project, what greets you is a picture of a knight moving an elf puppet; clearly, it’s ominous, but just the right amount to investigate the project a bit more. To my surprise, this comes from Scott Snyder‘s writing class and is the fourth issue of this collaborative series. Fans get 54 pages of surprising, dark, sometimes funny, and genre-spanning stories. I’m a sucker for comics like this, everyone has their takes and comes up with their own engrossing stories.
This comic is drawn so well, and the project is interesting, anyone would be remiss not to tell you to check it out!
Vampwyre #5

Goodies: Get the A-D Cover for $10, all four covers for issue #5 for $30, the first five issues for $40, or at higher tiers, get the blue chask bundle for $80.
Vampwyre #5 is the explosive breakout issue for both Tyrus and the Blue Shack Erth.
Vampwyre is a take on high-stakes sci-fi with its own punk edge, a story filled with rebellion, centering on its brand-new revolution. The series has had four successful Kickstarter campaigns and aims to continue its fifth. It’s already accumulated some headway, and it’s not hard to see why. It’s backed by a seasoned creative team including Zack Lynch’s decades of visual storytelling experience, Jason Baroody’s dynamic pencils, and veteran inker Mark McKenna, this chapter blends heart, action, and style. Whether you’re a long-time reader or diving in fresh, Issue #5 is a great entry.

The first project from DONT FOLD PRESS. SOMETHING ALIEN is an anthology of new comics that explore just that “Something Alien
This whole project looks like so much fun that I cannot get enough of it. From the newly minted Don’t Fold Press, the Something Alien anthology is the publisher’s breakout project. With 12 creatives behind the collection, it’s no wonder the campaign looks like it’s filled with so much love, blood, sweat, and tears. I couldn’t get enough of it, it looks fantastic, and centers around each artist showing “something alien.”
For a first project, it’s very clear it’s unique to them, and that shows through the previews of their art, it pops out at you and sells this alien aesthetic that they’re going for. I can’t recommend it enough, even their trailer is worth the trip over to their campaign, and they are chugging along towards their goal; make sure to check out the campaign today!

A system-agnostic zine of … you guessed it, wyrms!
The age-old debate of what the difference is between a dragon and a wyrm! So, what exactly is Wyrm? (The book readers, not the reptile) It’s meant to be a bestiary detailing many different creatures, going from tiny to ginormous, all for the utilization of your own stories. It’s a stepping stone to build on your stories to immerse your players, and quite frankly, it looks like so much fun. The book is wonderfully detailed and colorful, and its art, oh, the art is the best party. It’s clear this book is filled with creativity, and it can be yours just for $10. It’s the kind of thing GMs look to add on to their campaign for the best kind of player RP experiences. It may not be comic but it’s the kind of project the round-up aims to showcase readers, make sure to check it out!
