Donation for the Saved Whiskers animal rescue by Joseph Michael Linsner

This week comic artists and art dealers such as Joseph Michael Linsner, Adam Hughes, Danny Miki, Ron Lim, Spencer Beck of The Artists Choice, and Mike Burkey of Romita Man art as well as publishers such as Nick Barrucci of Dynamite Comics have donated artwork and spread the word to raise money for Saved Whiskers Rescue Organization. The animal rescue charity is raising funds so they can build a sanctuary house on a farm. The donated art is being auctioned on Comic Link this week.

Available art includes everything from pinups and splash pages to sketches and even pages from comics such as Mighty Avengers and Superman Adventures.

The 501(c) Non-Profit charity is dedicated to saving the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless cats. The group also provides necessary veterinary care and shelter until rescued cats find a loving family. The volunteer animal rescue organization relies solely on monetary donations, and all funds go directly toward the care of the felines. Learn more about them on their Facebook page.

To bid on art and support the charity, head to Comic Link here. The auction is set to end this Thursday, November 7. If you don’t want to bid on art but want to help the organization build the sanctuary, monetary donations are welcome through PayPal. Send to Savedwhiskers@aol.com. Donations will receive a tax deductible receipt.
