One of Harley Quinn’s original creators Paul Dini (Batman: The Animated Series) is returning to the character in the pages of her ongoing series. The regular Harley Quinn ongoing writers Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti and the standard art team are staying on the series’ main feature, but Dini, Palmiotti and Bret Blevins (New Mutants) are now joining the series, contributing a back-up feature starting in issue #17 on April 5th. The team is even bringing the character back into her traditional jester-styled costume.

In addition, when DC Entertainment shared the solicitation of the issue to Comics Alliance, they included a short synopsis on the story. The tale seemingly goes back-to-basics for the character, teasing Quinn’s connection to The Joker, as the series explores Quinn’s early days of being a criminal, seemingly romantically connected to The Joker. Here’s the solicitation;
