A Wave Blue World has launched the Kickstarter for Civil Disobedience: Stories of Resistance, a new anthology featuring 16 different stories about fighting back politically, as well as resources and practical guides to protesting, staying safe, and other ways of making a difference. The Beat is proud to share the first three pages of Jarred Luján (Crash & Troy), Chase Bluestone (Young Men in Love), and Micah Myers (Dead Beats)’s contribution “Henry the Antifascist Honey Badger,” as well as the title character’s design sheet.
The campaign is live now until July 4, and currently has a $25,000 goal. The 150+ page book is edited by Luján, Vita Ayala, and Tyler Chin-Tanner, and features cover art by Chris Shehan, with a logo by Tim Daniel. Others contributors to the book will include Ayala, Daniel, DB Andry, Henry Barajas, Angel Baron, Corinna Bechko, Mark Bouchard, Jordan Clark, Terence F. & Jayne Ellen Clark, Noah Dao, Myrka Elizalde, Lucas Gattoni, Matt Harding, Jonathan Hedrick, Miguel Hernandez, Maya Houston, Jamie Jones, Liana Kangas, John Konrad, Danny Lore, Ryan Oakley, Leonie O’Moore, Greg Pak, Chas!
