In 2018, author-illustrator Catana Chetwynd released her sweet comic collection Little Moments of Love through her publisher Andrews McMeel. Chetwynd’s comics have earned the creator a large following and as reported by Publisher’s Weekly on Monday, she has sold her second collection, Snug: A Collection of Comics About Dating Your Best Friend, to the same publisher.
Like Little Moments of Love, Snug will feature comics about Catana Chetwynd and her boyfriend, including new material as well as printed versions of comics she has already posted on her Instagram, which boasts 2.4 million followers. According to her post about the news, at least 50 percent of the comics in Snug will be brand new material for even the most diehard of Chetwynd’s fans.
Patty Rice is the Executive Editor at Andrews McMeel and has obtained world English rights for Chetwynd’s follow up from Kathleen Ortiz, Literary Agent at New Leaf Literary & Media. You’ll be able to read Chetwynd’s new release titled Snug when it debuts in February 2020.
