During the “Captain America: Cold War – A This Week in Marvel Special Event” panel at New York Comic Con 2022, several key revelations were unveiled! The panel, which took place at NYCC ’22 on Thursday, October 6th, 2022, focused on what’s to come for the Captains America in the forthcoming months and into 2023.

First up, a variant cover for Captain America and the Winter Solider Special #1 by Carmen Carnero marked the debut of the Winter Soldier’s new costume, which was designed by Carnero. This also gave us our first look at the top secret mission leading into the upcoming Captain America: Cold War crossover event, which offically begins in December 2022.

This previously announced Captain America and the Winter Solider Special one-shot issue will be on available at your Local Comic Shop beginning November 16th, 2022.

Plus, a promotional image by Daniel Acuña for the upcoming crossover between Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty and Captain America: Symbol of Truth, which begins in April 2023, was released.

The panel was co-moderated by Ryan Penagos and Lorraine Cink, and featured Collin KellyJackson LanzingTochi Onyebuchi, and Alanna Smith.
