  1. I knew John and his immediate family. We attended the same church for many years. He was remarkably intelligent and always looking at the upside of things. He never had a negative attitude and was always willing to help. My condolences to everyone who knew him, to his mom Mary, Dad John and sister Candy, and to his extended family and many, many friends. I grieve with you, but know that he is with his Lord, and one day we all will be reunited. Until then, John, you will be missed immensely.

  2. Thank you for running this story. It is important to note what we have lost. It is important to celebrate the spirit that John had in comics. We have lost a true believer and a soldier who fought the good fight for indie comics.
