Next week, AHOY Comics will release Billionaire Island: Cult of Dogs #3. The latest issue of the dystopian satire series comes from writer Mark Russell, artist Steve Pugh, colorist Chris Chuckry, and letterer Rob Steen. Now ahead of its arrival in stores, The Beat is pleased to present a first look at the issue, which finds the inhabitants of the island struggling to adjust to the events of the previous issues.

Here’s how AHOY describes Billionaire Island: Cult of Dogs #3:

Billionaire Island still stands, but life is very different than it once was. With mercenaries at every turn and F-list stars struggling to survive, the lush life has taken a turn for the worse. Join us on a walking tour as we see what’s left of the island…and what’s in store for our hero, Business Dog!

As with all AHOY offerings, Cult of Dogs #3 includes multiple back-up features, with two short stories accompanied by illustration. The story “Exorcisms, Inc.” is written by Carol Lay, who also drew the accompanying illustration, while “The Very Best of Both of Us” is written by Kirk Vanderbeek, with an illustration by Elliott Mattice.

Check out the preview of Billionaire Island: Cult of Dogs #3 below. The new issue of the series is due out in stores and digitally next Wednesday, January 11th.
