Jonathan Hickman, Nick Spencer, Mike del Mundo, and Mike Huddleston’s Three Worlds/Three Moons (3W/3M) universe will be featured in Arrivals, a three-issue series releasing from Dark Horse this fall. The book, which will have a different creative line-up on each issue, follows the children of astronaut and explorer Tajo Vallar, as they journey home to “solve a new mystery a generation after his disappearance.”

The first issue will contain two stories, both written by Hickman and Spencer. The first features art James Stokoe, and is set on the planet closest to the sun, Akva, while the second, created with Christian Ward, is about about the Vojoganto, the universe’s space whale transit system. Hickman, Spencer, and Huddleston will also provide the framing device for each issue.

The second and third issues’ main stories will be written by Spencer, and illustrated by Huddleston, Juni Ba, Mirka Andolfo, and Matias Basla (Sparrowhawk). Coloring will be provided by Huddleston, Basla, Arianna Consonni (Magic), and Nick Filardi (Cult of the Lamb), while AndWorld Design will letter the whole series.

Issue #1 will be released on October 21, and retail at 40 pages for $6.99. In the meantime, Dark Horse’s introductory 3W/3M one-shot, Foundations, will arrive in stores on July 8, and another special, Shift, will be released on September 2. They will respectively cost $7.99 and $9.99, and the latter is still available to pre-order from your local comics shop until July 27.
