Safe Sex—a comic that was originally announced last year as part of a new line of Vertigo books—has now jumped to Image Comics.
The book is from writer Tina Horn and artist Michael Dowling. At its new publisher, it will now be called SFSX (Safe Sex), and it is currently slated for a September 2019 debut. The move comes amid uncertainty about Vertigo’s future, with reports suggesting the long-time DC Comics imprint may not have a future at all. In addition, DC Comics has gotten shy about potentially adult material, a reality that has already pushed another formerly-announced Vertigo comic to switch publishers.
