If you spend any time online you have most likely had the desire to reach through your screen to throttle someone posting stupid, abusive, and bullying content. For those of us who have lamented not having the ability to shake sense into internet trolls, Outrage is for you.

Written by Fabian Nicieza (co-creator of Deadpool, writer of titles such as X-Men, Justice League, and more) and with art by Reilly Brown (Deadpool, Spider-Man), the web series features inks by Jay Leisten, colors by Matt Herms, letters by Pat Brosseau, and edits by Tom Akel.

Outrage appears as a virus that infiltrates the devices of those who choose to be abusive across the internet, either as a nasty bully, a lurking creeper, or a racist bigot spouting dangerous nonsense. The hero then pushes his way out of the digital world and into the real world where he proceeds to beat the crap out of the problematic person. Outrage is cleaning up the internet one jerk at a time. Nicieza’s witty, comical dialogue adds to the catharsis, but it is more than just trolls getting their due. Who is Outrage and how did this even happen?

No side is left unharmed, by the way. Whatever your political point of view or your personal online behaviors and preferences, if you are being a problem, Outrage will get ya. And because of that, the series makes you examine your own social media actions. If Outrage were real, would you be on his list? Hmmm…

Outrage updates on Wednesdays on Webtoons. Begin reading the series here.
