In Blind Faith, November Garcia takes us through her upbringing in the Philippines and the lessons she learned from her Catholic family and surrounding. She craft a thoughtful portraits at the often contradictory religious messages she received throughout her life. The Philippines is a predominantly Catholic country even as it touts it’s separation of Church and States, it is still very devout. November Garcia talks about all of the little idiosyncrasies that comes with this. She also takes a deeper look at her own faith and how it affected her. It’s a wonderful short comic.
