As we mentioned last week, the future of Legendary Comics isn’t too clear in the wake of the departure of its founder, Thomas Tull, from the studio, but they have a new book out this week, with The Great Wall: Last Survivor, a prequel to the movie about Matt Damon building something that can be seen from space. It’s written by Arvid Nelson with art by Gian Fernando and a cover by Whilce Portacio. Here’s a peek.
What if an army was created to defend our world from an enemy so dangerous, its very existence must be kept a secret? Challenged by rivals, haunted by his past, and tested by desires, Bao spends his life preparing for one singular moment: when he will have to defend the world from ferocious monsters that have come to devour us all.
