Another day, another young readers original graphic novel announcement from Dark Horse. Criminy is a new softcover graphic novel from the team of Roger Langridge and Ryan Ferrier. Written by Ferrier and featuring art by Langridge, the book follows the Daggum Criminy and his family as they search for a new home after their old one is taken over by pirates. The book sounds like a perfect showcase for Langridge’s wildly imaginative art as the family visits different locales and meets strange new people.
Langridge is a huge name in the all-ages comics game. The Eisner Award-winning creator of Snarked, he’s also provided art for, among many other things, Popeye and various Muppets comics. His previous Dark Horse credits include stories in issues of Hellboy: Weird Tales and Star Wars Tales. Ferrier has written comics for nearly ever major US comics publisher, including all-ages titles like Regular Show and Bravest Warriors for BOOM! Studios’ KaBOOM! imprint. Criminy will be his first work for Dark Horse.
