DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation are going all in on the Justice League: Gods and Monsters franchise, from a feature length-movie, to tie-in comics, to an action figure line, and of course the previously announced web series that will debut ahead of the film on Machinima.
The webseries, entitled Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles, will focus on the origins of the new DC trinity that sees the son of Zod as Superman, a vampiric Kirk Langstrom as Batman, and a Wonder Woman from the Fourth World form a team that Executive Producer Bruce Timm has compared to The Authority.
While the full-feature won’t see release until July 28th, the webseries begins on June 8th, with subsequent episodes being available on the 10th and 12th on Machinima.
