With Marvel Studios Civil War just around the corner, Lego Marvel’s Avengers game released their own versions of the characters we’ll see in the film. This add on content is free for fans who own the game. Included in the pack are new versions of Captain America, Iron Man, War Machine, Winter Soldier, Scarlet Witch, Agent 13, Falcon, with Black Panther and Crossbones appearing for the first time in the game.

Lego Marvel’s Avengers is the latest in Lego adapted properties in gaming. Set in Marvel’s cinematic universe, the game lets players experience new versions of action packed events from Avengers, Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Thor the Dark World, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. More content from Marvel’s cinematic universe is set to be released at a later date including the surprise hit of the MCU, Ant-Man12841304_984092591684624_7372759183158271828_o 12829322_984092548351295_2170281815916388046_o 12828934_984092545017962_7506132654703935299_o 12828371_984092538351296_4321429364129495718_o 1501436_984092541684629_8274350396913767135_o 1421079_984092535017963_8392729951595705986_o

Lining up with the recent debut of the latest Captain America: Civil War trailer, this new character pack has a looming cloud of a conspicuous Spider-Man absence. When we interviewed TT Games, Arthur Parsons at PSX last year he mentioned there were no plans to include Spider-Man in the game. As of now there’s been no official word if players will ever get a Lego MCU Spidey, but more MCU content is still in development and TT has a reputation of listening closely to what gamers voice.

The Civil War character pack is available exclusively to PlayStation platforms while Lego Marvel’s Avengers is out now on all the major Consoles and PC.

  1. I’ve had this since I bought the game. Maybe because I preordered? I did see some DLC titles for Masters of Evil and Captain Marvel, but I don’t know much more than that
