After seven years and seven seasons, Agents of SHIELD will come to an end next year. When it debuted, the hit ABC drama gave fans of the movies a new way to engage with the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe. And although it has always starred a team of secret agents, the show has gone far beyond the scope of any drama like it: as of season six, they’re even out in outer space.
But as Tony Stark once said, “part of the journey is the end.” At this year’s San Diego Comic Con, ahead of the the season six finale and the start of production on the final season, the Beat’s Yael Tygiel had a chance to talk to members of the Agents of SHIELD cast to get their first on set memories of the show. Watch as Tygiel gets weepy eyed with Natalia Cordova-Buckley (Elana ‘Yo-Yo’ Rodriguez), Henry Simmons (Alphonso ‘Mack’ Mackenzie), Chloe Bennett (Daisy Johnson), Jeff Ward (Deke Shaw), and head of Marvel TV Jeph Loeb.
