Warner Bros. and Dynamite have announced that the new addition to the long year of the blind bags will be the WB Comics Collector Mystery Bag, available on Kickstarter. Fans can get metal and holofoil covers from the biggest current WB comic book series.
Some of the artists who have been teased to provide art for these metal and foil covers are Mike Mignola, Mark Spears, David Nakayama, Jenny Frison, Jae Lee, Manix, Lucio Parrillo, Michael Cho, Francesco Mattina, Tom Raney, Filipe Massafera, Karen Darboe, Leonardo Romero, Derrick Chew, Christian Ward, and Ben Oliver.
Each Warner Bros. Blind Bag will contain five items:
- A scarce, limited-edition METAL or HOLOFOIL variant by a rogues gallery of incredible artists (see above). These all-new variants have been made exclusively for this campaign, making them highly collectible and rare.
- One of EIGHT brand-new variant covers by Ken Haeser, made just for this campaign! Haeser has taken 8 key moments from comic book history and created beautiful homages featuring characters from Space Ghost, The Thundercats, Silverhawks, Jonny Quest, The Herculoids, and the Powerpuff Girls.
- A hard-to-find Dynamite back issue, personally signed, stamped, and numbered by Dynamite head Nick Barucci.
- Warner Bros. comic blank sketch cover with a special bonus: a few lucky fans will actually pull a one-of-a-kind Ken Haeser commissioned cover art sketch on their blank cover.
- Lastly, a Supernatural #1 Ashcan featuring the premiere of the Winchesters in a brand-new comic book series that launches this week.
Warner Bros. Blind Bags will be priced at $100 each. Deluxe Blind Bags, which guarantee original art, will be available for $150. As part of the current Kickstarter, you can choose to receive both the inaugural WB Mystery Bag and the upcoming Spring 2026 Mystery Bag together for a total price of $200.
There are also add-ons to the WB Mystery Bag Kickstarter, like original Space Ghost, Herculoids, Silverhawks, or Jonny Quest art on connecting variant covers for $800. As well as the original cover art for Haeser’s new homage variant covers for $1,500.
