Whether we are talking about prints, pins or toys, Mondo is known for it cool and sometimes funky design sense. And they’re known for SDCC exclusives with eye-popping colors. This year’s SDCC exclusive Venom Mondoid variant stays stays true to all of that.
Mondoids are Mondo’s take on the 80s classic toy, Mad Balls. But what Mad Balls didn’t have that Mondoids do is a body to rest their ball heads on. The figure features a base with clawed arms reaching out, and a pool of green drool sitting under his chin.
What separates this from the standard Venom Mondoid also sold by Mondo? The regular version sports the villain turned anti-hero’s classic black color scheme, but the variant has an electric blue replacing the black.
