Heathen

Vault Comics has announced that they are partnering with Seattle-based collectibles workshop Level52 Studios to produce a limited edition statue of Aydis, the main character in the publisher’s acclaimed series Heathen.

Created by Natasha Alterici, the comic centers on an outcast gay warrior woman during a tumultuous time filled with war and the subjugation of women. Her mission: to end god-King Odin’s oppressive reign. The tale is currently in development for a feature film by Constantin Film and Prime Universe Films, with Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke attached.

The statue is set at a 1:6 scale and is inspired by the color schemes of the comic’s covers. Aydis is striking a fearsome, strong pose as she holds her bow and arrow.

HeathenThe protagonist is balanced on a snowy, forest base. Standing at 12” tall, this figure is crafted fully of polystone and arrives in premium packaging. Fans can preorder the piece on Vault’s webstore and is slated to ship later this year.
