  1. Just want to say that the work Ottaviani, Kevin Cannon and Zander Cannon did, T-Minus is a fantastic book; it gives a great summary of the space race from both US and USSR points of view, doesn’t shy away from the bad parts, and it’s just damned great. It’s been published by a standard trade publisher and being marketed to the school/library market, but everyone should buy it. The space race is part of my childhood and teen years, and I love this book.

  2. Thanks for the tip on the Desert Island event, Alex … it looks pretty great!
I added the link to the Dan Slott event at JHU to the post as well.
