New York, NY at 7PM Aline Kominsky Crumb in conversation with R. Crumb: Need More Love
The Richard B. Salomon Distinguished Lectures; LIVE from the NYPL present an evening with Aline Kominsky Crumb and Robert Crumb in Celeste Bartos Forum. Tickets are SOLD OUT, but standby tickets may be available at the door. The box office opens 2 hours before the event and doors open 1 hour before the event. The New York Public Library is located aon Fifth Avenue between 40th and 42nd Street.
Friday, February 16th
Lincoln, NE at 5:30 PM Chris Ware at Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery
Curator Daniel Siedell and Chris Ware will be discussing comic art and Wares current exhibition in Sheldon’s Ethel S. Abbott Auditorium. Reception to follow after the talk. The Sheldon is located at 12 & R Streets.
Saturday, February 17th
Seattle: 6 pm – Kevin Huizenga, Anders Nilsen and Gabrielle Bell slideshow and signing at the Fantagraphics bookstore.
New York, NY from 6:30 – 10 PM James Kochalka Gallery Opening and Reception at Giant Robot
Giant Robot presents Little Paintings by James Kochalka, a collection of 150 acrylic paintings. James Kochalka will be in attendance at the opening reception. The exhibit runs through March 14th. Giant Robot is located on 437 E. 9th St.
