The Thought Bubble Anthology 2019 line-up is here, and it features a number of top-tier comics creators. It also features Kim-Joy, the finalist from last season’s The Great British Bake Off (who deserved to win, but I digress…).
The Thought Bubble Anthology 2019 is due in October from Image Comics. As the name suggests, the anthology ties in to the United Kingdom’s Thought Bubble Comic Art Festival. That event is slated for Nov. 4 – 10 this year, and it will take place in Yorkshire, Northern England. All profits from the anthology will go to Barnardo’s, one of the largest children’s charities in the U.K.
In addition to Kim-Joy, the other creators involved are Becky Cloonan, Gerry Duggan, Abigail Jill Harding, Lee Garbett, Benji Goldsmith, Jock, Daniel Warren Johnson, Tula Lotay, Mildred Louis, and Pernille Ørum & Luke Pearson (creator of the Netflix show Hilda). The cover for the book (which you can find below) is by Helen Mingjue Chen.
