Michael Kupperman really is blogging! Early posts are baby-centric, due to the arrival of little Ulysses, but there are also comics aplenty.

Phish played at UMass in 1992 and someone drowned during their set… Gives this on e a whole new twist for me.
What’s funny is that the Phish show this references, a huge New Year’s Eve 1999 camping and music event known as “Big Cypress”, is considered by the band (and those who attended) to be their finest hour. They played, I think, six sets over two days… then kicked off the ball dropping with Clapton’s “After Midnight” and continued playing until dawn.
Many brain cells perished in this effort. Or so I’ve heard. Heh.
My brother drove to that show from Michigan, and I’m still glad he made it back alive.
I’m sorry…I don’t get it…
I’ve asked around…and so far no one’s been able to decipher this for me.
Can someone explain?
Never realized how funny/strange Kupperman is.
