Want to text with a woman that’s been cursed to love obsessively? Well, Focus Features has you covered with a cryptic phone number that people can text to start a fairly creepy but fun conversation with Obsession’s Nikki, the victim of a cursed toy that made her fall head over heels for a guy whether she wanted to or not.

The phone number to text is 724-876-4554, and it’s the latest in a growing list of clever horror ad campaigns that try to expand on the world of the film to get fans invested in it before release.

The moment you send your first text, you get an overly enthusiastic response that asks in a love bomb-y way if you agree to the terms and conditions of the ad. If you reply ‘Yes,’ you’ll get a taste of Obsession quick, from texts to voice messages. It’ll be too much, too quick. It’s the perfect introduction to Nikki (played by Inde Navarette).

It wasn’t that long ago that fans of the movie Longlegs could dial a number to get a creepy voice message from the story’s villain, The Man Downstairs. It was a short message, but it was haunting. Not long after that, a fake website for the movie Weapons popped up, offering access to a series of 90s-tinged newspaper articles about the mysterious disappearance of a group of kids one night under disturbing circumstances.

Obsession’s approach is a bit more playful, indicative of the kind of experience the movie’s aiming for. The trailer suggests as much, showing that dark comedy will be hand in hand with horror as the story progresses.

Directed by Curry Baker, Obsession centers on a guy (Michael Johnston) that uses a cursed toy to make a wish that makes his crush fall deeply in love with him. As it goes with stories about these types of objects in the wish-making department, things start off great but quickly go down a dark and sinister path. The curse’s victim is called Nikki, and she’s about to show the guy who made the wish what obsessive love looks like.

Obsession is set to release on movie theaters nationwide on May 15.
