Vault Comics and Eisner-nominated writer Christopher Sebela definitely have something to celebrate. Test #1 has sold out in just a month and will be getting a second print run later this summer. Even better, this new round of issues will also feature a new cover by the book’s artist Jen Hickman and designer Tim Daniel. Rounding out the creative team are colorist Harry Saxon and letterer Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou.

The sci-fi story is set in the near future and centers on Aleph Null, a non-binary, future-addicted guinea pig on the run, trying to break free from being a corporate test subject. They are in search of Laurelwood, a mythical Midwestern town where corporations test-market the future with tech that couldn’t possible exist yet, but does. Is the town the answer they need to finally find peace?

Issues of Test #1 featuring the new cover are set to hit stores on August 21. Fans can stay updated on the series by visiting Vault’s website.
