I agree that the Adventure Black Orchid cover is by Bob Oskner. To me, the tipoff is the face of the first “kickee”, his facial features show the Oskner style. Oh, and Black Orchid has a great shape, but that could have been credited to Adams or Oskner back then.. ( or Cardy, Swan,)
Kudos on the Clemente pic!!!
the Tiki
No Dread Pirate Roberts? Fer shame…
can’t believe you’re leeching all these images! It’s talk like a pirate day, not act like one.
The decision to not use the princess bride and (a certain ride loved by the Beat) were a conscious decision.
also, in a rush to put this up before work, I didn’t have time to find one picture I wanted to use: the Pirate Accountants from the Meaning of Life.
Below is a shot of some pirates, if possibly not the pirates, from intriguing.com.
Who did that awesome cover of the Black Orchid? Is that a Neil Adams?
According to the Grand Comics Database, it was done by Bob Oksner.
Don’t forget these famous pirates that got caught.

Thanks, Mr. Coale.

IMHO Krigstein is a god of comics.
