¶ IGN has revealed a set of four posters for KICK-ASS. WARNING: the poster descriptions contain spoilers aplenty.

¶ As noted in our comment section, Toykopop president Stuart Levy has co-directed the adaptation of VAN VON HUNTER, a light-hearted Ameri-manga by Pseudomé Studio. The film is described as “Mockumentary/Comedy tracking the meteoric rise of the glorious evil-vanquisher-turned-celebrity, Van Von Hunter” and stars Yuri Lowenthal.

There is no part of this that is not COMPLETELY AWESOME.
That picture of Justin, combined with the mental image of Boo-Boo, is highly disturbing. Haveing said that, I believe it is foolish to doubt Justin Timberlake – he can do anything!
That Yogi Bear news hurts my head. Does not compute. Hell, the idea of a live action CGI movie is bad enough.
Meanwhile.. I’m confused with what TokyoPop is doing with Van Von Hunter. I heard they filmed at cons. That and the mockumentary tag doesn’t make sense because while a parody, the book was set in a Castlevania like setting. Then again judging from their long in dev hell Princess Ai fiasco and their horrible take on Japanese manga Lament of the Lamb, I don’t see TokyoPop being much better in movies than they were as a publisher.
