After the events of Avengers: Endgame, it seemed like the Marvel Cinematic Universe had reached something of a conclusion. But if you thought that that was the end of the blockbuster franchise’s epic Phase 3, you’d be wrong. Spider-Man: Far From Home recently released to cap off the first decade of modern Marvel movies, serving as both a tribute to the past and a look towards the future of the franchise. And we’re here with a special Spider-Man: Far From Home video breakdown, detailing our favorite and least favorite parts of the movie.

Watch as Beat contributor Klaudia Amenábar dives deep into Spider-Man: Far From Home in a special spoiler-filled video review and breakdown. From the delightful Tom Holland (Peter Parker) to the theatrically hammy Jake Gyllenhaal (Mysterio) and a dynamic Zendaya (MJ), there are plenty of performances to love in this movie. The whole package of the film– a high school backpacking trip across Europe, was delightful as well. It might even come close to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse?!

But there’s always some bad to go along with the good. From the “hello fellow kids” sense of humor to the awkward sexualization of several teenage characters, there was more than a little that had us cringing too.

So check out our Spider-Man: Far From Home video breakdown to find out our overall opinion of the movie and subscribe to the Beat’s YouTube Channel! We’re just getting started.
