SEVEN SEAS ENTERTAINMENT decided to get the jump on what is expected to be a busy week of licensing announcements at New York Comic-Conby announcing the latest work from the ever-popular NAGATA KABI, the Keisuke Baji side-story for TOKYO REVENGERS, as well as brand new BL manga and fantasy romance titles.
MY WANDERING WARRIOR EATING DISORDER (Digital only – October 26, 2023)
Today’s first announcement was a big one, as Seven Seas announced a digital-first license for MY WANDERING WARRIOR EATING DISORDER, a short manga by the award-winning manga artist Nagata Kabi. This series is being released on digital platforms first to maintain the chronological timeline of her works.
My Wandering Warrior Eating Disorder by Nagata Kabi
This new diary comic details the complexities of Nagata Kabi’s fraught relationship with food, from eating disorders and habits, to food preparation, with unflinching and detailed honesty. This short manga was written after My Wandering Warrior Existence and was only released on digital platforms in Japan. Seven Seas will be publishing the manga in English as an ebook exclusive before the release of the book written after it–My Pancreas Broke, But My Life Got Better–in order to preserve the chronological timeline of new entries in Nagata Kabi’s powerful autobiographical series.

ROYAL TAILOR: CLOTHIER TO THE CROWN – (print and digital – June 2024)
Seven Seas also announced their latest shojo/josei manga title, ROYAL TAILOR: CLOTHIER TO THE CROWN by NAKASANE NOWAKI, a romantic fantasy series of a young seamstress who begins to work for a charming prince.

The Seven Seas boys love imprint also received their latest series, STAY BY MY SIDE AFTER THE RAIN by SHOKO RAKUTA. This slice-of-life romance series follows a salaryman reuniting with his high-school crush after many years.

Finally, Seven Seas announced TOKYO REVENGERS: A LETTER FROM KEISUKE BAJI, a spinoff series by YUKINORI NATSUKAWAGUCHI to the extremely popular TOKYO REVENGERS franchise by KEN WAKUI, also published in print by Seven Seas and available in digital from Kodansha.
