Never meet your heroes. Those Supes can’t be trusted, and now you have the chance to be part of an exclusive group to fight against powered people. Today you can Join The Boys.

With Amazon Prime Video’s premiere of The Boys only one week away, the Supes seem to be celebrating at San Diego Comic-Con this week. But they are a dangerous bunch and need to be kept in check. Now fans can join a special interactive group to keep an eye on their antics and make sure their power is not causing unnecessary damage—or worse—on the show floor.

All you have to do to join is tweet #JoinTheBoys and then call the number listed above (929-202-7208). You will hear a message with further instructions to send a text. Not sure what to send? I sent the hashtag listed in the tweet and it worked. Once you receive your official membership into “The Boys” you will be on their elite list to receive updates, exciting news, and more goodies about the upcoming streaming series.

The Boys was created by writer Garth Ennis and artist Darick Robertson first for Wildstorm and then for Dynamite Comics. The series explores what happens when superheroes are abusing their status and using their powers in a dangerous way, and causing a lot more harm than good in many cases. The superhero group in question is The Seven, who bear a striking resemblance to a famous squad of heroes from the DC Universe. The satirical comic is taken from a very gritty, graphic perspective, and it seems the streaming show starring Karl Urban (Billy Butcher) and Jack Quaid (Hughie) will follow suit.

The Boys is set to debut on Friday, July 26 on Amazon Prime Video. To purchase issues of the comic ahead of the show’s launch, head to Dynamite’s website.
