The Daughter of Drakulon is celebrating another huge moment as Vampirella is about to hit its 675th issue! Dynamite is excited to announce the celebratory milestone special release with another essential chapter in the long-running run by the legendary Christopher Priest! Prepare for a set of fantastic variant covers and even more as Vampirella nears issue #700!

In the aftermath of the “The Dark World” story arc (issues #671-674), Vampirella’s analyst, Doc Chary, faces a review board questioning his treatment of her. He must defend himself against accusations of “enabling” her “vampire-fetish”, which are viewed as part of a psychological condition. The challenge lies in explaining her complex, supernatural reality to those unaware of the darker truths behind her life and backstory!

Doc Chary will unveil a previously unknown chapter of Vampirella’s life, where she was confined to a mental institution for a 72-hour observation period. During those three intense days, multiple murders occurred, raising suspicions. The mystery centers around whether Vampirella is responsible for the killings or if something more sinister is at play.

  1. I doubt Dynamite Entertainment will allow this title to reach #700. They have long term committment issues. Give it time and somewhere along the line, they’ll stop and make issue #676 a new number #1 issue.
