Walmart Marketplace has announced exclusive New York Comic Con 2025 offerings and two new collaborations with VeeFriends and Shortboxed.
VeeFriends and Walmart have unveiled the NYCC-exclusive Special Story Edition A, which is the latest chapter in the VeeFriends universe. The story precedes events in VeeFriends’ Comic Book #1: The Battle for Balance Begins.
Fans who stop by the Walmart Marketplace booth can grab complimentary copies of the VeeFriends comic and a super sticker bundle, while supplies last, as well as special edition collectibles.
On Thursday at 12 p.m. ET, GaryVee will sign copies of Special Story Edition A at the booth, followed immediately by a livestream at 1 p.m. ET selling CCG-graded versions of the book.
Meanwhile, the Walmart Marketplace x Shortboxed collaboration will launch more than 10 thousand comic books and storage boxes nationwide.
Here’s what else to expect at the Walmart Marketplace booth during NYCC:
- Complimentary copies of Marvel Zombies, Supergirl, and Transformers comics (while supplies last)
- Specially curated toys and action figures (limited quantities, first come, first served)
- Thematically-curated, shoppable collectibles via QR code from the Hero-Verse, Wonder Dome, and Dark Realm multi-verse themed worlds
- Autographs from Gary Vaynerchuk (Thursday), Todd McFarlane (Friday), Stan Sakai (Saturday), and Tom King (Sunday) – Each signing will be overseen by CGC and fans can get complimentary security bags for grading.
- More than 25 livestreams from the booth that can be watched onsite or from home via walmart.com/live
