The news cycle has begun for the East Coast’s largest comic and pop culture entertainment event – New York Comic Con! Several programming announcements have been made regarding some big and highly anticipated events, though it wouldn’t be the same unless we mentioned Marvel’s plans. Especially given that New York City is the center of everything in its universe.
Showcased at the Marvel booth #2153 will be original costumes from Daredevil: Born Again along with a photo opp from Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. There will also be con-giveaways throughout the day, cosplay meetups, events, and signings – including a hands-on demo of the game Marvel Contest of Champions celebrated just in time for its 10th anniversary.
If that wasn’t enough, there will also be a first look at a Marvel and Magic: The Gathering collaboration, plus some surprise reveals for Magic fans on Friday, October 18th.
Although the biggest event? Easily the Next Big Thing Panel – where top heads will be going over the bestselling Ultimate line and One World Under Doom event, plus will talk about the upcoming X-Men crossover.
